Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
I started making items when I was struggling to afford to buy new things. Instead of throwing away old clothes, blankets etc I thought it was a waste so started recycling them. I started making character doorstops for friends and family. They were so well received and loved by everyone they suggested I make them for other people's enjoyment as they had little personalities of their own, turning a house into a home!
I make products that are eco-friendly/zero waste to reduce plastic usage in a beautiful way!
The first character doorstops I created gave me the inspiration for the name of my business as they really are full of character and I consider them my friends when I am lovingly creating them. I see them as need re-homing, each description will give you an idea of the character behind each friend (doorstop).
I ended up having lots of leftover scraps and wanted to utilise these so started making other items such as the re-useable cleansing wipes and face cloths.
I have a crazy Boxer dog called Bruce who is just adorable and a black cat called Trix who is as dreamy as the Cadbury's Caramel Bunny! The picture above sums up life with Bruce! I live with my Partner (who took the photograph - brucewalksphotography) and my Son who have to put up with all my stash of fabric and threads that find their way into every room! I absolutely love what I do and hope I spread my joy into other peoples homes with my products.
