We are a two-man business run by a couple of 60-something mates in the North East of England. We are David Miller and Dave Foster and we have a passion for fly fishing.
One of the most coveted and creative pieces of fishing equipment is the fishing fly. Fishing Cards is a joint project we set up to create fishing fly art from some of the very best examples of salmon and trout fishing flies.
The aim is to make these beautiful works of art available as greetings cards, wall art, and phone cases for fishing enthusiasts, and indeed anyone who appreciates the skill and craftsmanship that goes into the creation of every single fishing fly.
We’re also on a mission to help educate and inform fishers and non-fishers alike as to how flies are created and how they have developed over the centuries with a historic record of fly tying in the form of fishing fly facts.
