Sustainably sourced beach finds along the Firth of Forth and Moray Firth, made into art that celebrates each individual detail

firth definition: 1. a long strip of sea reaching into the land.

Living on the East Coast of Scotland it is difficult not to start looking down when you go on a walk along one of the many beautiful beaches I am lucky enough to live beside. I was first drawn to the sparkle of sea glass and the pattern on pottery, hunting for those elusive colours and the delight of finding patterns on the glass.

This has grown into collecting and identifying shells and other things the sea washes up to the shore. I want to highlight each and every individual shell, glass, pottery and seaweed to showcase their detail and beauty as they are. I place each piece so that you can spend time looking and noticing all the natural detail.

I am also lucky enough to have family on the Moray Firth so spend time combing those beaches too!

I live with my partner Darren plus our toddler and 2 cats and also work 4 days in my 'day job'. Life is busy so i will be doing a monthly update in the shop.
