I love to experiment with watercolour, creating an eclectic portfolio of images that interest me.

My degree work focussed on textile art in particular papermaking. Thirty years on after a busy and rewarding career in Education I have rekindled my love of drawing and exploring a medium which is new to me, watercolour.
I tend to draw and paint images which interest me and working on commissions.
I have also endeavoured to draw and paint some portraits a new venture for me and one that is proving to be quite a challenge.
I do not make copies of my watercolours so each piece is a unique one off. I do have a few pieces of work that I will never sell and I have had some good quality cards made from these.
I spend many happy hours practising my art sometimes I produce a piece of work I am really proud of, at other times something only fit for the bin. A frustrating aspect of watercolour painting.
I hope my work gives the viewer as much pleasure as the production has given me.
