Hello, I’m Anne and I run Egret Glass, a glass studio for fused glass giftware based in my back garden, next to the fishpond in Hornchurch, Essex.

I found out about fused glass while studying for my art degree at college, I enjoyed the process and the beauty of the glass itself so much that it started to take over from my art and now I have my own folksy shop.

I have always had a love for glass, the colours and the way the light radiates through can give a glass a object a whole new dimension, if you allow the light to dance right through the material, it will bounce rays of different hues across floors and walls giving a exciting magical effect to a home.

Beautiful and yet functional, and somewhat fun, a gift for a loved one or a little something for yourself, I hope you enjoy my glass pieces as much as I enjoy making it.
