Hi. I'm Ceri, Chief Archivist and needlefelt artist at Dragons of Shropshire. I create whimsical, adorable needlefelt dragons from locally sourced Shropshire sheep wool blended with other hand dyed rare breed sheep wool, and I dream up their histories while wandering the spectacular Shropshire Hills.
These dragons began life over twenty years ago as stories I'd make up while walking with my son. Dragonspotting walks are still one of our favourite family things to do on a Sunday.
Each dragon is unique - they all have their own personality and quirks; some are tiny and can fit in half a walnut, others are freestanding and strikingly imposing on wood slice bases.
