Welcome to Deer Totem Jewellery. I am Maria, the designer and creator.

From an early age I begun to collect jewellery. I found an affinity with semi precious stones and metal work. I soon decided this is a creative area I wanted to explore further. I started a small jewellery business, supporti ng my travel into Europe. I felt great pride knowing people wearing my designs. Since, I have studied jewellery & silversmithing and am proud to present "Deer Totem".

The deer is my spirit animal, representing sensitivity and strength. Working with grace, determination and being gentle in approach. What better inspiration.

Each artisan piece is carefully handcrafted so you can enjoy the highest quality and finish. The original jewellery designs are created in sterling silver, copper, gold brass and mixed metals combined with gemstones and exotic beads. They are created using traditional metalsmithing techniques and I hammer the metal to offer texture and an antique/rustic feel.

I hope that you will enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
