I paint pictures with beads!

Hi, I'm Jacky and I'm a beadwork artist. I've created my very own unique style of beading which has evolved over the years. It's based on creating little pieces of beaded art that you can hang in the window. I make all my designs freehand and I still use the little pliers that my Grandad gave me when I was 5!
I trained and worked as a goldsmith for about 20 years and had my own shop and workshop in Hampshire.
I now live peacefully in the heart of North Devon with my cat, Hobo, where I'm creatively inspired by the beautiful countryside that surrounds me.
I had a busy little market stall for the past few years, which I loved, but recently made the decision to go in a different direction so I can spend more time being arty at home and take time to enjoy my pretty walled garden with my collection of roses.
As well as my beading, I love doing other crafts like crochet, Origami, sewing and painting. I'm also a musician and play the guitar and recorders as well as singing. I play in a folk duo called Seven Bridges.
I thought it would be a lovely idea to show and sell my designs on Folksy.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I love making them.
