About DJMM Sculptures

DJMM Sculptures

Welcome to DJ's Artistry, where discarded metals find new life as unique, heartfelt sculptures, and bespoke commissions turn your imagination into tangible works of art."

Hello everyone, I'm DJ, and welcome to my creative haven on the internet.

In this little corner, my passion for transforming discarded materials into unique sculptures comes to life. I believe in infusing heart and soul into every creation, whether it's destined for a gallery, a custom project, or adorning my own garden. For me, if something is worth making, it's worth doing right.

I don't operate as a mass-producing business, so each sculpture I craft, even if it shares a theme, is inherently different and carries its own distinct identity.

My journey began about five years ago with small wire flowers, and over time, it has evolved into the crafting of larger-than-life pieces suitable for both home and garden settings. I find inspiration in the beauty of marine life, and the challenge of piecing together a sculpture often stems from the unique array of scrap metal I discover—a sort of grand, artistic jigsaw puzzle waiting to be assembled.

The majority of the metals I use are sourced from scrap heaps or discovered at car boot sales. Additionally, I incorporate mild steel for the framework, as its malleability allows for easier shaping. By embracing the philosophy that every piece of discarded material can tell a new story, I strive to create not just art but a narrative of resilience and transformation. Welcome to my world of sculptural storytelling, where the beauty of creation emerges from the remnants of the forgotten.

In addition to my passion for creating unique sculptures from discarded materials, I am thrilled to offer custom commissions. If you have a specific vision or idea in mind, I am more than happy to collaborate with you to bring it to life. Whether it's a personalized piece for your home, a special gift, or a bespoke project for a particular space, I approach commissions with the same dedication and enthusiasm that define all my work.

Through this collaborative process, we can explore your preferences, themes, and any specific elements you'd like to incorporate into the sculpture. I believe that art should resonate with its owner on a personal level, and I'm committed to creating pieces that capture the essence of your vision.

Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in commissioning a sculpture. Together, we can embark on a creative journey to transform your ideas into a tangible and meaningful work of art.
