As an American living in London and missing my home country, I've used these home décor accessories to bring a little bit of America to England.
During a visit to my home town of Topeka, Kansas, I saw a box of old plates in an antique store. I brought some back to London and then had to figure out what to do with them. I love the aged, rusty, beat-up look of the plates and I thought they would work well as home décor accessories, adding unique character to the home.
The plates remind me of family vacations as a child, where sitting in the back seat of the family station wagon with my little sister and bored out of our minds, we would keep track of the different license plates we saw as we drove down the highway. We could never get all 50 - Alaska and Hawaii were next to impossible to see - but on a good two week vacation with a lot of driving, we might see twenty or twenty-five different plates.

The plates I use are original, vintage U.S. plates and these items are literally one-of-a-kind. These coat racks can be used in the hallway or entryway for coats, scarves, and hats. They’re great for the bathroom for hanging dressing gowns and towels on. Hang one just inside the back door for those wet coats. They’re also perfect for the bedroom, shed, garage, and shop.
The clipboard is, in my opinion, the coolest clipboard ever. It comes with a pad of paper and can be used anywhere. It also makes a great gift.

Souvenir pennants!

When I was growing up in America souvenir pennants were everywhere. During the 1950s, 60s, and 70s most families vacationed by car and nearly every roadside attraction, souvenir shop, and gas station sold pennants.
Most of the pennants in my shop are from the 1960s and 1970s. They make truly unique, one-of-a-kind home décor accessories and add a touch of rustic charm to any room. Group them together on a wall or frame one by itself in a weathered frame for an original piece of Americana art.
Souvenir pennants are becoming more and more rare as people discover how well they work as home decor accessories in any room or environment. Grab yourself a piece of Americana history!
