CrystalHazeJewellery

Unique and Quirky Earrings inspired by the 60's and 70's

Hello and thank you for checking out my jewellery page on Folksy!

How did Crystal Haze Jewellery Start?

Crystal Haze Jewellery started during the lockdown period when I was looking for a fun hobby to do at home, now that I had a lot of extra time! I began creating the earrings and posting them on my personal instagram and a lot of my friends & family loved the earrings and wanted to buy them from me. Once I realised people enjoyed what I was creating due to the handmade nature I began creating more and more daily, I then decided to set up this (very) small online business.

What Inspires me?

I love being creative and I usually tend to sketch out all my ideas before creating them. I am very inspired by the 60's and 70's fashion and aesthetic and so wanted to create pieces that reflect the hippy and mod fashion within these era's.

What makes Crystal Haze unique?

I am completely open to custom orders, and would love to make you something even more unique and special - if your custom order is something I completely love and continue to sell I may even name it after you!

I like to name my products after people who inspire me such as Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Dolly Parton, Nancy Sinatra etc.

I believe in making unique pieces but at very affordable prices - all my items come beautifully packaged with FREE UK shipping!

Where do you work?

I still currently work at home in Liverpool, and dedicate hours daily to try make this small business a hit, my main goal is to make my customers happy and to create something that they'll love.

How are the pieces made?

All my pieces are handmade using resin, mica powder and I usually add (a lot!) of (biodegradable) glitter! Each piece takes 24 hours to cure, and the following day I spend adding the finishing touches such as the metal work.

The reason behind the name?

Crystal Haze has a few meanings behind it. Crystal was the name of my pet dog, whom I loved dearly but has sadly passed. I also tend to wear a lot of Crystal healing jewellery and will be selling that eventually too. Haze is the way my surname sounds but is spelt differently and I also love the word and the hazy feeling behind it, I think it suits my hippy style quite well.
