I love the three things in my life - my husband, my animals and making beautiful things out of resin (mostly!)

I work out of the haven which is my craft room in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. After being made redundant in the Spring of 2021, I decided to take the plunge and become self-employed with no clue what I was going to do!
I tried decoupage and making paper-mache models until eventually trying resin and deciding it was something I was good at. After starting with markets, craft fairs and school fairs, I had my own shop which I shared with my husband - he made guitars and I made jewellery. We had a freezing cold workshop and took the finished items to the shop.
When I first started with the markets, I was making all kinds of things - I was basically throwing things at the wall (not literally!) and seeing what stuck. I then decided to concentrate on jewellery. Also making necklaces and bracelets with beads.
I like to make alternative jewellery, making a lot of Gothic, Emo and New Age items which appeals to people looking for something a bit different, whilst finding a balance catering for people wanting something a little less racy!
So we have keyings, earrings, pendants , bracelets, rings all ready to go. All waiting to add a bit of glam and sparkle into our daily lives...
And yes, I do have cats - three of them in fact! Also lets not forget our dog! Little Eddie, let's give him a mention too!!!
