Individually designed and hand sewn by Sam Scott

I was taught at a very early age to handsew, my teacher was very insistent on tiny neat stitches. It has been my discipline ever since ( thank you Miss Harwood!)

I concentrated on embroidery for many years creating beautiful children's pictures. i studied Art design/Crafts at City of Bath college and gained full dinstinctions which has encouraged me to work towards a BA in ceramics in the near future.
This has helped me to design and create in many aspects of art including decorative screens which I hope to have on Folksy soon.

My sewing has been a continuous journey and I have spent the last year building up a collection of cushion designs.
Each cushion is sewn by hand using a combination of English paper piecing, Embroidery, Appliqué and Hand quilting; both Western and Japanese style.
