Contemporary hand crafted ceramics from my studio on Cornwall's rugged north coast

I am a potter based on the North Coast of Cornwall, UK, where I create contemporary ceramics inspired by the surrounding landscapes and dramatic seascapes. I predominantly use local clay from the St Agnes beacon and sell mostly through local Cornish galleries as well on Folksy.

Originally from East Anglia and having spent most of my working life working in the media industry, I settled on the north coast of Cornwall, UK some years ago and now spend my time creating contemporary ceramics, tending my walled garden and enjoying long windy walks over the surrounding cliffs and beaches.

I take my inspiration from the rugged surrounding Cornish landscape and seascapes. Rich, earthy colours are present everywhere in this part of Cornwall from old mining buildings to natural rock formations. The North Atlantic Ocean can be wild and dramatic with a beautiful range of greys and blues.
