I love to be creative especially with clay, my friends say I’m a bit ‘potty’!

Hello and welcome to Cornish Cottage Crafts, I'm Brenda, and at an early age I was taught to knit by my Mum. I then learnt, over the years, to sew, crochet and paint ceramics. In 1998 I started painting ceramics, as a hobby and then I purchased my first kiln (which I still use) in 2001.

As you can see I have always had a passion for craft and making things but I especially love working with clay.

I feel I get my inspiration from my Dad, who is a retired carpenter. I always loved to watch him work when I was a child.

I love to do all my crafts from my cottage in Cornwall, hence my shop name. All my items are made with love. I love to crochet with all types of yarn. My ceramics are individually hand painted, glazed and then fired in my kilns.

I live with my Husband, who is my rock. We have hens, 3 cats and a crazy collie dog.
