As a teenager in the early sixties, I made all of my own clothes, I wanted the latest trends in fashion but, as an apprentice hairdresser, didn't have the funds to buy them. This was when my love of sewing started, at the kitchen table using my mum's ancient hand turned Singer sewing machine.
Since those days,I have always loved all things sewing and craft related and now spend a lot of time in my sewing room where I have two embroidery machines, a variety of sewing machines, (all of which are favoured for different jobs), and an overlocker.
I have often made gifts for my own family and friends, which have been well received. Encouraged by my family I have recently entered my work at a local craft and horticultural shows and was lucky enough to be awarded best in show two years running.
I love to make things that can be given with love and will have special meaning, both for the person giving the gift, and the recipient.
When I'm not sewing, I love to go for long walks with my husband in Windsor Great Park. We also like to travel and I find inspiration in the wonderful fabric and quilting shops, especially in the USA.

Buying from me

I offer a range of handmade items that will be perfect gifts for your family and friends.
I choose good quality fabric and threads for all of my makes and they are finished to a high standard.
My love of sewing was enhanced when I bought my first embroidery machine in 2009. This enabled me to embellish items with a range of designs, making them unique. Some of my items can be personalised, but please allow extra delivery times for these.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
