The story of Cloudberry Lane organic cloth doll kits..

Sewing has always been my first love. I used to sew for my three children but now they have grown up, and I am still making dolls! I care deeply about sustainablilty and I always try to source organic fabrics, and recycled / sustainable materials whenever possible. I love inspiring others to find joy in sewing, and my favourite thing to make are sewing craft kits for others to enjoy.

Cloth dolls have always been close to my heart, and I adore botanical watercolour illustration, so combining the two was just a labour of love. The idea for the dolls came about when I wanted to make a truly unique gift to celebrate my friends birth. I wanted to make a handmade doll which was truly special, so I thought of designing a doll featuring her babys zodiac sign and filling it with lavender (and good wishes!) on the day of her birth. She loved it, so I thought other new mums might love it too x
The doll kits are also ideal as best friend gifts or birthday gifts and they make perfect kids craft sewing projects from around 8 years.
