Here at Firtree Pottery I make Ceramics that are both functional and decorative.

Hi There, I'm Ceri the owner of Firtree Pottery.

We have a large beautiful Firtree in our garden and that is where the name Firtree Pottery came from.

I graduated from Central St Martins College with a degree in Ceramic Design, a few years ago now!

I have been busy looking after my three very active boys, who are now at school, so once I have finished the school run I can pop into my space at home and make beautiful things.

Inspiration for me comes from nature, plants and the sea. when we are out on our family walks I pick up plants that I love the form of to use in my pottery. Also ideas from our coastal holidays, always collecting pebbles, wood, glass and shells to bring back home.

I enjoy throwing and hand building so my work can go in many directions and use both Terracotta, Buff and White clays.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work, I really enjoy making it.
