Maker of quirky things. Not edgy, just quirky.

I have always made things. When I was young, I could never sit still - I had to be drawing, painting or sewing. After a conventional career, I attended university and studied constructed textiles, specialising in knitted textiles.
Now I make things. Quilts, cushions, bags and now more often, pictures. Using fabric, vintage finds, rusty metal and driftwood, I construct pictures depicting the seaside and happy situations. I am an optimist and there is always sunshine in my pictures.
I love the sea and seagulls too and if I can feature either or both in my work, I will!
