Wheel thrown useful pots made in the Welsh mountains.

I moved to my present home at the foot of the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park in 1982, having searched far & wide for the right place to set up a pottery. A nearby field that hosts an ever changing panorama of wild flowers provides colour for my tableware. The local bird & animal life inspire my figurative work, while the textures in the surrounding mountain escarpment are reflected in my raku & fumed work. All my work is fired in my gas kiln which provides excitement every time it is unloaded.

I have exhibited in galleries such as the Glynn Vivian, Newport, Monmouth & Brecon museums. An earlier tableware design has been sold in Selfridges & Fortnum & Mason.
