Beguiling Bee's Emporium runs mainly from a space under the stairs in a small house in Dorset, working with many talented friends whose original art is printed individually (not mass manufactured) and who earn commission on every sale of their products.
Rebecca Savage (me) also designs and creates many handmade items - including ever popular Dammit Dolls, and handwoven Tapestries and Mixed Media Textile art. She has a Degree (BA Hons) in Textiles and certificates in a growing number of subjects including A'Levels in Photography, Art history, and Art; Foundation Diploma in Art with Art History, a Visual Arts Diploma, Digital Marketing, Customer Care, a Welcome Host Award, and Senior Regional Winner of the Young Environmentalist of the Year Award from British Gas in the 1990's for two years running! (Oh and a growing number of certificates in relation to a school Governance job she also works).
Be assured there are also genuine happy dances with every single sale made, as every sale helps to feed the wild birds in the garden, the families of both the business owner and the artists connected, the domesticated pets, the crazy breeding fish in their garden ponds ... and more.
In regards to packaging - when possible we re-use packaging - boxes, bubblewrap, envelopes etc to reduce impact to the environment and to keep costs down for the business and our customers.
