My name is Deanne and I'm originally from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I have lived in Surrey for more than 10 years now, via Essex, Luxembourg, Paris and Edinburgh.
I used to work in I.T., which was extremely satisfying, but gave it up to indulge my real passion for travelling. I love to discover new places and, apart from the obvious thrill of visiting and becoming part of that culture for a while, I love to see which jewellery trends are big. The inspiration I get from these places means I love coming home too, so I can start designing new pieces! Each of my designs is individual and reminds me of somewhere I've been or something I've experienced.
Because I wanted to wear jewellery which was both handmade and original, I attended a number of jewellery-making courses in London to get started. I've never looked back since, and am addicted to learning all the (many) techniques associated with creating beautiful jewellery.
I would recommend jewellery-making to anyone who enjoys wearing something unique to them. However, if you don't have the patience or, indeed, the time to invest, visit my shop and choose something which appeals to you.
