Hand poured highly scented wax melts to make your home smell beautiful

A big friendly hello! I’m Siân and I’m the owner of Bayside Melt Company based in the Morecambe Bay Area in Lancashire.

I’d reached the (young) age of forty something and found myself beginning to reflect on what I had made of my life and what I wanted for the future... Have you ever felt like that?

I’ve always lived my life day to day, very much staying in my lane - lacking that overall plan.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected us all and for me it gave that time to take a step back and reflect. I've worked for others my entire life, but always felt I’ve not pushed myself enough to achieve my full potential.

I came to realise that I’m the only person who could change that feeling and I began to think about starting my own small business.

But then, what to choose. I wanted something I could stamp my name on and be proud of. I thought about my friends and family... and eventually I found inspiration from my auntie’s love of wax melts.

So I began pottering in my kitchen at home, and immediately fell in love with the process - and the amazing scents. Honing my craft, I moved onto selecting a type of wax to champion, and selecting fragrances that will beautifully perfume your home. I also wanted to incorporate the ethos of sustainability and researched packaging alternatives to single use plastics.

I spent six months testing with friends and family before feeling ready to launch at the start of April 2021. I hope you love them x
