Hi!!
I'm Becky and I'm an artist based in Cornwall, UK. I am a dog mum to a mad but very loveable Labrador called Archie who is my absolute world and I admit to spoiling him far too much!
I have always been a quirky yet creative soul but spent most of my life in retail being quite frankly miserable as sin. While I adored the people meeting side of things it really didn't make my heart and soul very happy at all.
Art and being creative helps me maintain my "never killed anyone" streak while also helping build my confidence and make me feel, well like me I guess! I love expressing myself through each piece I make and I love being challenged to step outside my creative comfort zone even if it makes me cry a little sometimes!
I'm all kinds of shy until I get to know people but my favourite things are creating(painting and sewing especially), walking my mad hound or losing myself in a good book while snuggled on the sofa with lots and lots of coffee! I am a coffee addict!
I always have tunes blasting in the background while I'm making but I do have a very varied taste including anything from Elvis to the kasier chiefs to well most music to be honest though I'm not much of a country fan!
The idea of my work was that I make people smile, I wanted people to open a parcel from me and I want them to smile and maybe feel a little brighter. As an overthinker myself I get this world can be all kinds of weird and scary and I just want to make people happy even if its just for a moment in time.
