Affordable Artistic Furnishings

I am a furniture artist in the west coast of Scotland, I hand paint – upcycle – old or tired furniture to give it a new lease of life. Ayr Brushed has been trading for 3 years now, however I’ve been painting since the 1980’s. It’s a passion, it’s very addictive and I love my work. I like to add a twist to a painted piece by using different fabrics, patterned paper or a hand painted scene, giving it warmth and character, or by trying out a new technique.

I also welcome commission orders, so if you have unused or unloved items requiring a unique new look, send me a message and I’ll see if I can help.

Buying from me

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

If you change your mind and wish to return an item you must pay for the return postage and return it in its original unused condition.
