I Auntie Pearl am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
I create textile items from new modern and vintage (but unused) fabrics . All of my items are unique and slightly different. I combine embroidery with ribbons, bows, buttons and pretty fabrics.
I have a wide range of colours and fabrics in my stash so, if you like the items listed but would like it in a different colour, then let me know and I can make one to order, subject to availability.
I can also personalise some custom made or bespoke items if required.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
Refunds and Exchanges
Faulty or damage goods
If any items are received in a faulty or damaged state, or are not as described, then please contact me immediately. I want you to be completely happy with your purchase. I may require photographic evidence of any damage or fault.
Under the UK Consumer rights act 2015, you have the right to reject a faulty item within 30 days of receipt and receive a full refund. After 30 days you may still be entitled to claim a repair or refund but note that others terms apply.
Cancellation of Orders
Under the UK law you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of goods and receive a full refund. However please contact me via e-mail before you return any goods. Returned items must be unused and adequately packaged to prevent damage in transit. It any returned item does show signs of use or damage, then the refund will be reduced to compensate for loss of value. Return postage is the BUYER`s responsibility and so proof of postage is recommended in case of loss. Refunds will be given within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. Please note that these rights do NOT apply to custom-made, bespoke or personalised items unless the items are faulty or damaged.
Non delivery of items
I usually allow up to 4 weeks for UK orders and 4-6 weeks for International orders before refunding for non-delivery. Please contact me if you have concerns about your item.
