Hello, my name is PETEK;

I'm an artist, local business owner, mother of a wonderful daughter, living in East Sussex, UK. My passion is to photograph people and their connections to each other. I love relationships and the stories they tell.

I have been a GettyImages photographer for the last 15 years amongst the most experienced photographers in our area. I graduated from the University of Marmara Fine Arts and Art Education. When I started working for the private sector, I had no time left for painting and discovered photography. I have started to construct a unique approach with photography when mu aesthetics shaped by my fine arts background and knowledge in depth, merged with the photography techniques.
Despite the short time, I have sort of formed a style. I love photographing B&W portraits and nude poses. By employing artistic styles, I document my subjects and educate the viewer. My work mainly focuses on black &white and nude, and the core of my photography and paintings consists of life, people, woman, love and one’s sensitivity towards his inner world. photography and painting form a life form while mutually feeding each other. My photographs have been exhibited in various exhibitions including the one called ‘Kadin icin Kadin / Woman for Woman’, an exhibition which took place lots of locations nationally and internationally like London, Washington, Urfa, to support women and women NGO’s.
My photography career has been going steady as a GettyImages photographer since early 2006.
I have moved to England in 2019 and started my company called ArtPhotographer. I started working for ArtPhotography when I have moved to England in 2019. My expertise lays in human relations and their interactions thanks to my years-long experience from being a stock photographer. From the moment you get in touch with me to the date you receive your final photos, you will have my undivided intention.
I photograph Weddings § Engagements, Business portraits, Social media portraits, Indoor photography, Nude photography, Boudoir photography, Dance photography, Travel photography and Family portrait sessions in London and the entire East Sussex area.
