Colourful, contemporary books for writers and artists

Hi, I'm Helen and I make colourful, contemporary notebooks, journals, sketchbooks and albums.

I'm a colour and pattern obsessive, am inspired by tactile, natural materials and have always loved making things. Working with my hands is when I feel most myself. I got into bookbinding after discovering the magic of traditional Japanese chiyogami paper and I've been exploring beautiful decorative papers from around the world ever since.

Each of my books is lovingly hand-crafted in my home studio from beautiful, sustainable, tactile papers to hold your ideas and plans, dreams and doodles, memories and more.

My notebooks, sketchbooks and journals are designed to bring a little bit of luxury to everyday stationery, whilst the memory books and albums are perfect to record life’s most special events.

I also make a unique range of gifts for artists and writers. These sketchbooks and journals are one-of-a-kind designs or else made in very limited numbers.

I get huge pleasure from imagining where my books might travel to once they leave my workshop and what unique, creative expressions and memories they’ll store. I aim to make books that are beautiful to look at and hold, as well as a joy to use.
