Lovingly hand made in Yorkshire

Textiles are part of the Yorkshire landscape. Sewing, stitching, crafting and knitting are just, well, in my blood really. As a little girl, I used to sit with my elderly neighbour, Miss Marsden, while she twiddled her bobbins hand making lace. My Gorgeous Grandma showed me tapestry, embroidery and rescued many dropped stitches while I was knitting. I still have bundles of her old sewing books, tattered patterns and her rickety sewing box. I work from home, sometimes inspired by the colours I see in the natural landscape around me in Yorkshire. Sometimes, though, I just love jazzy, bright, crazy colours. I always aim for really good quality. After all, as my Grandad used to say "If you're gonna do summat, do it reight".
