My name is Jenny and I am the owner/ designer/ maker/ all round everything at A Little Dress. I create handmade clothing for children and babies.
Based in Oxfordshire, England, everything is totally handmade by myself - each step of the process is carefully carried out.
A Little Dress began a few years ago when I was trying to find a gift for my newborn niece, everything I could find in the shops was that stereotypical 'girls' shade of pink, overly-frilly and just generally nothing that appealed to my sense of style. So I decided to put my sewing skills to use and make something instead.
Over the recent years the range has expanded from the simple 'pinafore' style (which is still available!) to include jersey dresses, skirts, hooded capes, coats and more! My ethos is to create well made clothing that can be enjoyed time and time again, in classic shapes and styles in a range of fabrics to suit all tastes; who says a girl can't wear a dress covered in tractors? I believe in expanding the range of options available to parents and allowing their childs identity to flourish
