I love to paint colourful, original patterns then use my artwork for printed greetings cards and to decorate wooden items.

I studied theatre costume at art college and have always had an interest in colour and pattern. I worked as a costume maker then in education for many years before setting up Ali B Designs Surrey. I am inspired by patterns in nature and love to build up designs in layers. I photograph my work so as to have greetings cards printed from it as well as using it to decorate wooden items. These include decorations and memory boxes. My two cats help out wherever possible, for example, by modelling for my wooden cat head decoration!

Buying from me

My work features my own original artwork from which greetings cards are printed.
I use my artwork to decorate wooden items including memory boxes and decorations. All wooden items are painted before having the artwork glued to them. They are finished with a satin glaze.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
