I have always enjoyed the fantasy genre (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Dungeons & Dragons etc.) and often play computer games that are based on it, not least because the scenery is often stunning and imaginative. I had been doing a lot of pastel art and thought it was about time to do something in pencil again, so I took this screenshot, laid out the basic drawing... and then didn't get any further for several years for various reasons. Eventually, as with my painting Highland Splendour. I found the time to get this drawing done... and finished it just in time to pack it away before moving house!
