Full description
Made to brighten your day, these cheery flower drop earrings are made by me in my workshop in rural South Derbyshire. Wrapped in tissue and supplied in small pillow box, they make an ideal gift for birthdays or someone special.
NB: Pottery is the traditional gift for a 9th wedding anniversary.
The earrings have sterling silver (please see Note below) ear wires with a green seed bead on wrapped sterling silver wire, under which hangs the pretty flower pendant consisting of a stylised hanging yellow flower stem with green leaves. The back of the earring is also painted with small yellow dots.
To the front, I carve the flower design with a needle, which I inlay before firing in the kiln. I then paint the coloured elements of the design, clear glaze all over and fire again before assembling them.
The total drop length is approx 6.5cm.

Note: I’m happy to swap to surgical steel earwires if you prefer. Please let me know when ordering if so.

Packaging:
All items come well packaged in sturdy cardboard boxes. I only buy paper based and recyclable packaging. If your parcel contains any plastic (eg bubble wrap) it is being re-used from packaging I’ve received.
