This collection was inspired by the repeat patterns of antique Irish crochet lace. This was a source of revenue and a popular past-time in the famine years of the 19th century in Ireland. This type of lace is characterised by separately crocheted motifs, which were later assembled into a mesh background. Other types of Irish crochet include Rosslea and Clones lace.

This is handmade to order from 925 sterling silver.
Please allow up to 7 days for it to be made for you.
Each flower is crafted by hand, cut, filed and polished. The design is unique to me and was inspired by Antique Irish Crochet lace.
It fastens with a toggle closure which slots through the centre of the flower.
The total length is 19cm (7.5 inches), and width is 2 cm approx.
