Full description
I enjoy throwing on the wheel as it gives me great control over the forms I produce. I like the shape of this bowl with the scalloped rim accentuated by a hint of pink to the cream glaze. The images are created from a plant that grows on the Atlantic coast near Mendocino CA. Fired into the finished piece at 850 degrees C, they have fused into the glaze and will not mark or fade in any way.
Made of stoneware clay this bowl is very strong. It is also food-safe and dishwasher proof.
