I have a rose bush in the garden which has lovely red flowers like these on the cushion. Having this cushion in the room is like having a bowl of red roses in the room. It makes me think of summer, all year round.

Full description
This hand made cushion cover is made from two green brocade type fabrics, which I have stitched in a patchwork style around the embroidered centre panel. The centre panel is a “waffle” type cotton fabric, onto which I have machine embroidered a design of a bunch of bright red roses, which contrasts with the lovely green colours used for the cushion itself.
The front of the cushion cover is lined with a cream coloured poly-cotton to cover up all the seam edges and the back of the embroidery.
The back of the cushion cover is made from a very pale green poly-cotton fabric, with a hint of brocade style and has a cross-over back with button closure. The outer edge of the cushion cover is then top-stitched about 1inch (2cm) from the edge, all the way round, to create a small frill around the cushion.
This cushion cover does not contain a cushion insert. It will need a cushion insert of 16” x 16” (41cm x 41cm) to make it look plump and well padded.
All the fabric and thread used to make the cushion cover is washable at 30C.and both the cushion fabric and the embroidered design can be ironed on the medium setting.
This cushion cover would make a lovely gift for anybody who likes flowers and would add a touch of colour to any room.
