A Slate Toned wide ribbed knitted scarf, perfect for either a lady or a gent!
The slate toned yarn for this knitted scarf is a Denys Brunton designer yarn and is wonderfully soft and is perfect shade for those who love monochrome and grey tones, but with a hint of added interest, as I have teamed it with a black and white thread yarn, to give a mottled effect.
This lovely scarf is washable with care in cool water, but I would suggest hand washing and shaping whilst damp.
The scarf is in a classic style. Knitted on a large needles to give a loose stitch, in an alternating wide rib design, allowing the scarf to gather and therefore give a soft and thick feel the the scarf, without the weight of a heavy thick yarn. There are no seams or joins in the scarf.
I have not further adorned it with floral or patterned decoration, as the yarn is beautiful and need no further enhancement and also want to ensure this would be a unisex item.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This lovely slate toned scarf will go with so many outfits, perfect for the autumn and winter seasons and anyone who loves unique and bespoke items.
