Hi, I'm Jo. Welcome to my shop. In it you'll find unique, handmade garden designs including mosaic bird baths, and other garden decorations. All designs are my own and are created by me, so you'll be buying something pretty unique, which will suit any style of garden, from traditional cottage to modern contemporary.
Item Description
A wooden structure with bamboo canes, finished with purple and cream preservative. The log shape is 10.5cm wide and tall and 15.5cm long. The interior space is 5.5cm x 5.5cm. The strut for hanging is 14cm long x 3.5cm wide x 1.8cm deep. The wood used is FSC assured wood, so comes from a responsible source. The log comes with instructions of where to hang it for best results.
(The images show the box tied to trellis. There is a pre-drilled hole in the hanging strut for a screw (not supplied) to be used for a more permanent fixing.)
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Returns Hopefully you will be happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not you may return it within seven days for a full refund. If the item is damaged, or it is the wrong item, your return postage will be included in the refund, which will be made via Paypal. Please obtain a proof of postage as a refund cannot be given until the item is received by me. International returns - Any import duty or tax due in this country will be paid by me on return of the item. Bee Log House Purple
The Design
This bee house is designed to be a contemporary look, log shaped home. It is made with untreated wood and stained with a preservative that is safe for bees and insects. The house is created for use by mason bees, which are non-aggressive solitary bees that are very useful pollinators. especially of fruit crops. So if you are a fan of grow your own, or if you’ve got a fruit tree in your garden, these are the bees to attract. Because the log interior is nice and deep, with thick, insulating sides, you may find that other insects use the gap in between the canes for overwintering, like ladybirds and lacewings. Two more beneficial insects to have in your garden for pest control of aphids.
You will also receive one free mini packet of seeds to grow that will attract the bees (seed variety may vary from pic, U.K purchases only).
