Full description
These egg shaped cane toppers have been inpired by the textures created from Indian print blocks, the original eggs were hand sculptered using the print blocks as surface texture, then cast in plaster to create a slip mould and the ceramic eggs you see in the photos are the result of this process.
The eggs have been coated in an attractive shiny mustard glaze and fired again to 1260c in my kiln. They have been designed to fit fairly deeply onto a bamboo cane to support tomato plants and various other tall growing plants whilst they are growing.
Packaged in an eggbox with a label this set of six eggs would make an ideal gift for gardeners and those who love their gardens.
