Meet the maker Suzzie Godfrey

Knitted solutions to everyday needs are inspired by flowers in my garden, the sea and English village life. A make-do-and-mend approach shapes my designs for a simpler life. Everything can be improved with a knitted flower, a cup of tea and a large slice of carrot cake.
My Nanna taught me to knit on needles when I was still in primary school, and I owned my first sewing machine before I was 10 years old, these foundations took in on a path to a BSc(Hons) in Textile and Knitwear Technology.
Creating is just who I am, its part and parcel of my soul, if I am not knitting my fingers get all fidgety!
So is my house full of my creations? well yes it is. It what makes it home.
