Meet the maker Kirsty Tomlinson

Welcome to Strictly Camping – Handicrafts for the camping and caravanning enthusiast plus some unique gifts for those who aren’t!

I am a Mum to three delightful children under the age of 8, working part-time in the financial services industry. Making things, whether it’s sewing, crochet or cake decorating, has always been my release; my wind down.

Strictly Camping was borne out of creating a bespoke Christmas present for my caravanning Mum. She had admired our comfy yet plain cushions in our own caravan and by the time I returned home, I had mentally appliquéd a caravan to a cushion cover and finished it by hand with buttons, cross-stitches and French knots. Viola!

I have created items for the home or to take on holiday ranging from doorstops, draught excluders, cushions, bags and aprons. The designs are primarily based on my love of caravanning and the popularity of camping amongst my family and friends. However, I also love baking hence the Cup Cake collection!

I design and make every item, individually and with care. I can also personalise creations for a small additional charge although I will need some prior warning as such items will have to be made from scratch.

Payment for your item is made using Paypal. If you don’t already have a Paypal account it’s easy to set one up. If you don’t want to register with Paypal you can use a credit or debit card via the Paypal site. Just follow the instructions on screen. If you are having any problems paying using Paypal; please let me know so I can try and help.

Orders placed from within the UK are sent via Royal Mail Second Class mail within 3 working days of the payment clearing.
*Non UK*
International orders are shipped by Royal Mail Airmail, which aims to deliver to European destinations within three working days and worldwide destinations within five working days.
Please note that I am not responsible for any custom fees, taxes, tariffs, duties or other receiving fees incurred. Returns will not be accepted due to customs fees.
