Meet the maker Cherie O'Rawe

Hello and welcome to my shop The Fancy Edge.

I have always had a love of crafting and the process of designing and making things, and I decided it was time to set up shop and share my creations with you.

When my husband (my editor) and I moved into our home a few years ago I turned our spare room into my craft studio, which I seem to have filled with all my favourite things including book shelves full of craft books and craft magazines which I can't seem to stop buying.

I love discovering and learning new crafts and therefore I enjoy a variety of creative interests which I immerse myself in from time to time. At the moment my passion and inspiration lies in designing and hand sewing or hand painting decorative accessories.
All my items are made by myself and to my own designs and therefore the copyright for all my artwork remains with me.

Due to the decorative nature of my hand sewn fabric items the washing instructions are - Gently sponge wash only.
