Meet the maker Heidi Mellan

My name is Heidi and I’m the owner, manager and the general ‘Head of everything’ to do with Gorgeous Crafts.

I’ve been a crafter in one form or another since I was a child. I knitted my first jumper with a cat on the front at the age of 12 and, ok so it was a little on the big side, but I was so proud of that jumper!

I've since gone on to do card making, cake decorating, embroidery, cross-stitch, salt dough, scrapbooking… the list goes on.

I've recently grown my passion for crafting into a small business by opening my own online papercraft online shop which you can find at www.gorgeouscrafts.co.uk. I have also started selling my handmade creations which is the main reason I joined Folksy.
