Meet the maker Rosie Blunn

I'm a textile designer-maker living and working in Hebden Bridge. I've always knitted, sewn and crocheted, taught by my grandmother in the 1970's, and have worked in various textiles jobs for the past 30 years. Now I have four children I have opted to work freelance from home.

What are Bamboots?
Bamboots are my own design, developed over many years for my own children and others.
The baby boots are designed to stay securely on baby and toddlers' feet, when fastened- no more lost socks and shoes- whilst extra ankle width allows ease of putting them on and off.
Bamboots are soft shoes, allowing growth and wriggle room: important for developing feet.
The soles are made from recycled leather, and lined with recycled felted wool.

I also make custom baby boots, with names embroidered on the soles:- the ideal new baby/christening gift. Please message me for details.
