Meet the maker Jean Stevens

After completing a Foundation Diploma in Fine Art, I embarked on a professional art practice specialising in printmaking.

I regularly exhibit in the South West and am a member of Somerset Art Works. A never ending supply of inspiration beckons for me as I walk the Somerset countryside with my beloved Jack Russell, Mr P and a sketchbook in hand. A pre-occupation with the natural environment has given me inspiration for my limited edition prints and monotypes. A fascination with presence and history is shown through my monotypes, recording nature in it's most simple forms.
