Buying from me

Yam myad is a Cumbrian expression meaning 'home made'.
Being a Cumbrian lass and making my own stuff, I figured this would be a good name for my shop.
I often have lightbulb moments, and these are when I get my best ideas. I've taken to walking around with a notebook these days. I am inspired by nature and not being able to find perfect clothes for my children.
I love vintage yarns, shiny beads, bright colours and tiny baby clothes, so keep your eyes peeled for my unique creations.
Kntting, spinning, jewellery making and tie-dye are my current passions, but I'm sure I'll think of others.
What you see here is my train of thought...please mind the gaps
