I am an artist who designs greetings cards and other printed items which I print myself in Wiltshire

My name is Abby Gray and I am an artist, photographer and author. I have a shop here on folksy I have had a stall at multiple different arts and crafts fairs in different parts of the UK, selling my cards and books, which are also available at some cafes and shops in Wiltshire - such as the Cotswolds Courtyard, Honeystreet Mill Cafe, National Trust in Avebury, the All Cannings Village Shop, and the Crystal Clear shop in Pewsey.

I enjoy making my pictures of animals and landscapes, as well as experimenting with combining different mediums or techniques. I mainly use acrylic or watercolour, and I'm also trying to get more into calligraphy. I have also dabbled with oil pastels; charcoal pastels (black, and the coloured ones); oil paint, and stamps. I have my studio dedicated to hanging up my favourite pieces of artwork - and also the artwork of four dear friends who have sent me their works over the years. I know that artisits often don't get along, but for me, I think that it is important to get along with everyone, including other artists - showing genuine interest in other people's works and success can often be beneficial to oneself, since one might get new knowledge or inspiration for one's own art.

I have been an artist since I was young, and the same goes for my English Language skills - despite having learning dififculties as a child. Despite this, I have got a BSc in Psychology from Bucks New University in High Wycombe (2017 - 2020), and an MSc in Positive Psychology from the same university (2020 - 2023). I am known for my love of chickens, because during the years that my family kept the 12 silver link pullets (2011 -2017) and the four adopted ex-barn hens (2014 - 2022) , were the times when I looked after them and spent time with them. They were the only pets I ever had (aside from goldfish in a garden pond) and my love of their intelligence and character is immortalised in my artwork and photography.
