My name is Sharon and I love all things yarn. Living in Chesterfield on the edge of the stunning Peak District with my husband, two adult children and the boss of the house - Skipper the cat.
Over my career I have worked in education - both children and adults, hospitality, retail and mental health support but I always come back to craft.. In fact my retail experience is in THAT craft store in the UK.
Crochet particularly just lifts my soul. There is a soothing quality to creating with yarn. I did set myself the challenge to learn to knit and over Christmas I made my first crescent scarf. I also do tunisian crochet which is a skill in itself. But crochet is something that I always come back to.
My creations are varied. I make everything from baby cardigans to cotton boho bags to light and airy cotton bandana scarves. I always have at least two projects on the go - an at-home project which is a big one, and a smaller portable one which lives in my project bag and goes everywhere with me. I run three yarn groups in Chesterfield so I am always out and about making something and talking all things yarn.
