My privacy policy

I wellbeingcrafts am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.

• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.

• To comply with legal or tax obligations.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

Hey there! We’re Ieva and Michelle, the creative minds behind Wellbeing Crafts. We’re not just business partners—we’re friends, creative buddies, and constant sources of inspiration for each other. Our journey is deeply connected to a wider circle of artistic souls, where we love to collaborate, share skills, and swap spare art materials.
Our passion for crafting comes from personal experience. Both of us have been through life’s ups and downs, and we’ve seen firsthand how making things with your hands can be a powerful way to process emotions—whether it’s grief, a tough relationship, or illness. In our workshops, we’ve witnessed how creativity brings a sense of calm and presence, offering a much-needed escape. There’s something undeniably therapeutic about working with natural materials, engaging your senses, and letting creativity take the lead. That’s how Wellbeing Crafts was born—it's not just a name, but a reflection of what we believe in.
We’re always learning how to be more planet-friendly in our work and everyday lives. We carefully source our materials, prioritizing local, natural, recycled, and recyclable options. Oh, and fun fact—neither of us owns a car!
What We Do
We create handcrafted, natural, and sensory-based crafts, each piece thoughtfully made with care. Our materials are chosen with intention—for example, we buy raw wool directly from local farmers near Ieva, and our designs often revolve around what’s available seasonally.
• Michelle specializes in wool spinning, dyeing, weaving, and art book making. She’s also a talented bookbinder and an avid beachcomber, always finding inspiration by the sea.
• Ieva focuses on wet felting, crafting everything from large wall and floor pieces to bags and decorative items. With a background in ceramics, she’s spent years making and teaching. She also has a cocker spaniel named Buttons, who’s the unofficial team mascot!

We love sharing our skills and offer workshops in various textile-based crafts. Between us, we have years of experience teaching people from all walks of life, in all kinds of settings.
