My name is Valerie and I would like to share my story of how I started this business. In 2024 my husband and I moved to Morecambe. New start, new beginnings. I'm semi-retired and I needed to do something ,so i decided to look for a job for almost a year, with no success. The desire to make jewellery was always on my mind. I kept thinking about it, so one day I asked my husband to buy me a Jewellery kit for my Birthday. I was still looking for a job. My jewellery kit arrived and that is how I started. I learned how to use the tools by watching several YouTube channels. I eventually got the hang of how to use the tools. Then I got a part-time job working for the local council as a passenger assistant for autistic children and elderly people with dementia. The job fitted in perfectly well with what I wanted to do. It gave me the flexibility to learn my craft making jewellery. A year later my husband surprised me with a sewing machine on Mother's day, because i like sewing too. This is how it all started for me with this business. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of it.
